Assistant Manager / Manager (Accounts)

Reports to: Director

 

Job Description

• Combined office-based and client facing role.

• Working on a diverse portfolio of clients – including small and medium sized privately-owned limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.

• Completing ad-hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise.

• Producing draft and management accounts with minimal outstanding queries for review – in a timely and methodical manner.

• Drafting income tax and corporation tax computations.

• Managing general office-based day to day duties as required – including team management.

• Supporting junior staff and reviewing their work.

• Limited audit work.

• Great scope for promotion.

Audit and Accounts Senior

Reports to: Director

 

Job Description

• Preparing and completing accounts.

• Ensuring VAT returns are completed within agreed deadlines.

• Auditing (will be less than 10%).

• Bookkeeping as needed (Sage, Xero and other).

• Troubleshooting.

• Identifying possible improvements to client systems.

• Liaising with clients and resolving queries.

• Supporting and reviewing work prepared by junior staff.

 

Please note that this is a senior position, not a trainee position.
